Weight Management & Lifestyle Program
Our Fall group will begin October, 2018!
This is a lifestyle change program, where participants will learn, laugh, share stories, try new things, and build new habits—all while improving their health!
Key components of the program include:
Endorsement by Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment
A Lifestyle Coach and Registered Dietitian, specially trained to lead the program
A support group of people with similar goals and challenges
This program runs for 1 year:
During the first 6 months of the program, participants will meet weekly
During the second 6 months, participants will meet once a month
Making lifestyle changes is an ongoing process. Staying in the program for the full year is essential to help maintain new habits and avoid slipping back into old habits.
During the first half of the program, participants will learn to:
Eat healthy without giving up all the foods they love
Add physical activity to their life, even if they don’t think they have time
Deal with stress
Cope with challenges that can derail hard work—like how to choose healthy food when eating out!
Get back on track if you stray from your plan—because everyone slips now and then!
The second half of the program focuses on enhancement of skills learned and maintaining the changes made.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (MBA, RDN, NBC-HWC)
Certified Specialist in Obesity and Weight Management
National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach
The RFV became my home in 2010 when I moved here from the Front Range. As the lead dietitian in a local hospital, I became aware of the need for our community to have access to professionals trained in evidence-based medical nutrition counseling.
For many people, the image of a dietitian is someone in a white coat who hands out the menu at the hospital. As a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Health Coach, I assist people with the lifestyle and nutrition changes they want to manage their medical conditions. I specialize in nutrition for Adult and Pediatrics Weight Management, Chronic Disease Self-Management, Emotional Overeating, Cancer Survivorship, and Healthy Aging. When not working with clients, I enjoy the incredible outdoor playground we live in! From hiking 14ers to music festivals, I’m loving it all.
